New Music : 'February'

    New music on all platforms.

    As of today, February is out everywhere - yes, perfectly timed with a Dutch heatwave :>).

    It's the first of three singles to be released this summer in the
    lead-up to the new album Another Month - Another
    Year which will be released on September 11.

    Some of the tracks are tied to specific months, though only loosely. ‘February’ carries a kind of muted glow, a wintry restraint, a pale sun over a frozen landscape. There is beauty here (if I
    may say so myself), but it’s the beauty of stillness, of minimal motion, of the breath between endings and beginnings.

In his works, light takes center stage — the play of light and shadow, the shifting light throughout the day. He is constantly searching for new ways to create depth within an often white surface, by building a piece in layers of glass and paper or by folding patterns.
