Harpist Lavinia Meijer and pianist Feico Deutekom on tour with Les Chants Estivaux. In De Lieve Vrouw in Amersfoort (NL).
Who says harp, says Lavinia Meijer. She belongs to the best harpists in the world. Great composers, like Philip Glass, admire the way in which she rewrites repertoire that was not originally written for the harp. In De Lieve Vrouw she plays with pianist Feico Deutekom. Together they play a selection of Glass' Four Movements for two pianos. In addition, pieces of Erik Satie, American composer Meredith Monk and Dutch composer Douwe Eisenga are on the program.
