Music for a theaterplay, commissioned by Theaterproductiehuis Zeelandia, about the Dutch writer Martinus Nijhoff, his wife Netty and her mistress Marlow Moss. The play was written by Anna Maria Versloot and directed by Vincent van den Elshout.

Music for the documentary De verhuizende Schuur (Moving the Barn) by Marjan Bos and Theo Rietveld about Sjaak Murre, who single-handedly moved a barn of Zeeland Flanders to the other side of the Westerschelde!


Wiek (Rotor) is a dance/theater collaboration with director Boukje Schweigman. The score is written for saxophone quartet, piano and sampled percussion. All saxes are played by Erik-Jan de With (The Hague Saxophone Quartet).

Ports in Motion is a film-production of Juister Imaginairies. It is a short movie following the principle of the golden cut about life, work, human effort and dynamics in the harbour of Zeeland. Ports in Motion has been rewarded with the Golden Camera at the 2009 U.S. International Film and Video Festival in Los Angeles (California, USA). Over 1,100 films from 22 countries were selected as best corporate image film fit for the Golden Camera, only to find Ports in Motion of Juister Imaginaries standing out. 

Doors to the Soul

Music for a film by Elizabeth Salgado. A blind man, a music composer, a cook, an astronomer and a homicide investigator. The film gets into their minds and explores their creativity and passions through their senses. The film uses snippets of City Lines.

The chamber opera  Kabaal / Bestevaer recounts a heated argument between the two Dutch naval heroes, Michiel de Ruyter and Cornelis Tromp. The piece - with a libretto by Nirav Christophe - for two singers and a percussion player premiered in 2001 under the title Kabaal, followed by a longer version in 2007 under the title Bestevaer.
